Built Around the Game

Hide & Hickory started with a simple idea: build something of my own around the game I’ve always loved.

Baseball has been a huge part of my life. From playing the game to coaching and spending time around players and families, I've always loved more than just what happens between the lines. It's the early mornings, long practices, tournament weekends, conversations in the dugout, and the people you meet along the way.

Those experiences are what inspired me to create Hide & Hickory.

I wanted to build something that represented the culture and lifestyle of baseball — not just a brand focused on one type of product, but something that could grow alongside the game and the people who love it.

Why Hide & Hickory?

The name comes from two things that have always represented the game to me:

Hide — the leather of a baseball glove.
Hickory — the wood of a baseball bat.

The glove and the bat represent so much of what makes baseball special: tradition, craftsmanship, toughness, and a connection to the game that goes beyond a scoreboard.

That idea is at the heart of Hide & Hickory.

Starting With Apparel

Our first step is apparel.

We're creating hats, tees, hoodies, quarter-zips, and other pieces designed for people who live around the game — whether you're playing, coaching, watching from the stands, or simply love baseball.

But apparel is just the beginning.

As Hide & Hickory grows, the vision is to become a broader part of the baseball community — bringing together apparel, equipment, and other products that players, coaches, families, and fans can use and enjoy.

We want to build that the right way: one product, one customer, and one step at a time.

Built From the Ground Up

Hide & Hickory is independently owned and built from the ground up.

I'm involved in every part of the process, from choosing products and developing designs to preparing orders, packaging them, and figuring out how to make the next one better.

We're starting small, but the vision is bigger.

The goal is to create a company that people associate with baseball itself, not simply one category of products.

Every order and every person who supports Hide & Hickory helps us take another step toward that vision.
